This site, thomasrweaver.com, is operated by Thomas R. Weaver (the "site owner"). This page explains what personal information the site collects, why it collects it, and what happens to it.

What we collect

The site collects a small amount of personal information, only when you choose to provide it:

  • Contact form: if you send a message, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
  • Account sign-up (Wisdom): if you register a Wisdom Citizen account, we collect your email address and (if you sign in with Google) your Google account's basic profile information (name, email, profile picture URL).
  • Account data: after sign-up we generate a non-identifying persona record (citizen ID, arcacity, tower, floor, tier). This is linked to your account ID, not to your real-world identity.
  • Cookies and local storage: the site uses cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary for authentication and basic functionality.

The site does not currently use third-party advertising trackers or behavioural analytics.

How we use it

  • To reply to contact form messages.
  • To create and authenticate your account.
  • To show you your Wisdom Citizen persona while signed in.
  • To communicate transactional account messages (sign-in links, password resets, etc.).

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties except the processors listed below.

Third-party processors

The site relies on the following services. They process personal data on our behalf, under their own privacy policies:

  • Supabase — authentication and database.
  • Netlify — hosting and contact form submissions.
  • Google — only if you choose "Sign in with Google", Google handles the authentication step.

Your rights

If you're in the UK or EU, the UK GDPR / EU GDPR give you rights including access, correction, deletion, and objection. You can exercise any of these by emailing author@thomasrweaver.com.

To delete your Wisdom account: email the address above with "Delete my account" and we will remove your account and persona record within a reasonable period.

Retention

Contact-form messages and account records are retained for as long as is reasonably necessary. You can request deletion at any time.
